New and improved clinic hours and service   Leave a comment

The point of this blog is to let people know what is going on around Special Health Resources. We are always striving to improve our “customer service” to all of our clients. With this in mind, we are encouraging our case managers and medical staff to take a proactive role in getting clients in for their appointments. We want each person to be a partner in their health care, in order to keep each person as healthy as possible.  Case managers will be calling clients to remind them of appointments and follow up after appointments to make sure everything went well. We work every day to get better at the business of health care, but make no mistake, the focus of all of our efforts is on the client. We will always put clients first and always be professional in our work.

We will begin to have clinic hours in sections, to accommodate the various kinds of clients we serve and we will have specific days for labs to be drawn. This will be handled by the clinic manager and the case managers at the Jim Meyer Clinic and they will put you into the appropriate times and make sure that you have the best possible chance to be seen quickly and get your medical needs met.  If you are a client of our clinic, we need you to be a good partner and follow the directions of the doctor/nurse practitioner/ or nurse. We need you to keep your appointments, so that we can do our job in helping you to be as healthy as possible. Together, we can help you to be healthy and, as Mr. Spock would say, “live long and prosper”.
